附：Alan Wee-Chung Liew副教授简介

    Alan Wee-Chung Liew is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Griffith University, Australia. He received the B. Eng. degree with First Class Honors from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Tasmania (Australia) in 1997. From 1997 to 2004, he was a Research Fellow, then a Senior Research Fellow, in the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. From 2004 to early 2007, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2007, he moved to Australia and joined the School of ICT, Griffith University, as a Senior Lecturer. In 2010, he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. 

    Professor Liew has published over 100 international journal and conference papers and actively served as a technical reviewer and committee member for a number of international conferences and journals in IEEE Transactions, IEE Proceedings, bioinformatics, pattern recognition, and computational biology. His research interests include computer vision, medical imaging, pattern recognition, and bioinformatics. He is a senior member of IEEE since 2005 and his biography is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World and Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering.
